Millennials have overtaken Baby Boomers as the largest demographic group in the U.S. workforce.  As a result, there has been an endless stream of reports claiming that millennials, also pejoratively known as the “Me” Generation,  are fundamentally different than previous generations.  This talk challenges the category of millennial head-on, drawing on the field of anthropology to show that millennials are far more heterogeneous than they are commonly portrayed. As a result, differences between millennials are often greater than differences between them and other generations. Understanding those generational nuances might be helpful for your coaching practice.
